My dad's BBQ spareribs, my grandma's home made sweet pickles (to die for) and her Chicken Paprika. My other grandma was a professional baker and everything she made was incredible, like big, soft pecan sticky buns served warm with butter. A food orgasm, if there is such a thing.
My cooking triumphs
Personally developed pizza recipe was introduced at the enlisted club at a base I was stationed at in Scotland. Food sales increased by 75% the first month it was on the menu. I love Chevy's Mequite Grilled Chicken Quesadillas, so I experimented and came up with my own recipe. First time I served them to guests, I was told I should open a Mexican restaurant.
My cooking tragedies
I've had a few things come out bad, but nothing really major. At least nobody has ever told me to my face!
