Great Grandma's Nut Butter Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2013
Really good cookie! Followed the recipe exactly and was pleasantly surprised with how good they turned out. After creaming the butter and sugar I stirred about a cup of flour in the bowl. Then I added the rest of the flour by hand. The consistency of the batter was perfect. I baked them for 15 minutes only, any more time and they would have burned. I would have given this recipe 4 stars had I used confectioner's sugar to roll them after baking. But since I dipped them in chocolate, 5 stars are DEFINITELY in order. I melted 1 cup of bittersweet chocolate and 2 teaspoons of shortening for the dip.

Vegetarian Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
This is the best Quiche I have EVER tasted! It comes out perfect every time, it's truly amazing! I didn't have a problem putting the mix on the pastry shell. I think if you let the veggies cook and reduce a bit, adding the 5 eggs won't cause you to spill the mix.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
This was my first time making lasagna and everyone that ate it love it! I followed other people's suggestions and did not cook my noodles before putting it in the over. I mixed some ricotta with the mozzarella when making my layers. And unlike some reviewers I didn't think it was too watery. If you let it sit for about 15 minutes, it will absorb any excess liquid.

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
This is one of my favorite recipes of all time. I've made it quite a bit of times and it comes out perfect every time. I substitute the heavy cream for coconut milk. I lessen the amount of peas and add okra and spinach. Also, I've discovered that small red potatoes cook faster than any large potato :)

Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
I was very excited to make these cookies. And I'll have to admit, I was a little bit disappointed with the results. The cookies were a bit too heavy for my taste. I had some friends of mine try them and none of them took a second. It wasn't because they weren't tasty, but they are the kind of cookies you can only eat one. I don't think I'll make them again :(

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
These cookies are amazing! I followed the suggestions of some of the users and they turned out great. However, ended up lowering the amount of chocolate chips the second time around (they fell off the cookies on my first attempt). Also, from now on I'm adding instant pudding to all of my cookie recipes!
