I made a vegetarian version for a party and it was great! I also used a mixture of white and red quinoa which made for a very pretty presentation. My guests, most of which are picky meat lovers, thought it was fantastic. The best part was trying to explain what quinoa is, lol. Have made several times since.

Curried Mustard Greens with Kidney Beans

This was so quick & easy, and a great way for me to use the mustard greens from my farm share. I wanted a stronger flavor though so I about doubled the amount of curry powder and added a couple cloves of garlic. Yum!

Coconut-Lime Cheesecake with Mango Coulis

I would give this 6 stars if I could! Made for a friend's party and everyone was so impressed. Delicious as is but I would double the crust next time because it was kinda skimpy in my pan. Served with rum-scented whipped cream and topped with lime slices. It looked like I bought it from a bakery

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

So easy & super delish! Followed recipe to the T. 1 recipe made a bundt cake plus a dozen cupcakes. Topped with a vanilla glaze. Will definitely make this again. Endless ways to vary this. Might be great with dried cherries :-)

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Perfect recipe - easy and delish! And not as spicy as i feared. I used pickled jalapenos since that's what i had, and i cut out the veins & seeds. Just the right amount of zing. And go through the effort to bake this.

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Fun to make with kids. We made them during the holidays & called them snowballs. I added pretzel pieces & candied pecans to the popcorn & that was delicious. Make sure to use fresh marshmallows or they will come out kind of hard.

French Apple Tart (Tarte de Pommes a la Normande)

This recipe is delicious. I've made it several times. The only thing I've changed is to use apple jelly rather than apricot preserves because my family finds it too sour. I've also added dried cranberries to the jelly and that is not only a beautiful presenttion but also& a nice flavor combo.
