Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
This is amazing! I used this recipe to make a stir fry and it produces the tenderest chicken I've ever had. Although I must note that I didn't follow directions and just threw all of the ingredients in a slow cooker for a few hours, and it came out fine. Just add stir fry veggies in the last 15 minutes and then pour over rice. Delicious!

Super-Easy Rocky Road Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
I altered this recipe to make it "s'mores fudge" by swapping the walnuts out for graham cracker pieces. This is a great recipe for what it is. You will get a slightly softer consistency than making fudge on the stove with baker's chocolate, but I found keeping it in the freezer makes it just as good. And it only takes 5 minutes to make, which you just can't beat.

made into a loaf rather than muffins (increase cooking time) and added 1 tsp vanilla and cinnamon. Yum!

Momma's Potatoes

Reviewed: May 28, 2011
Overall these are pretty good, but I found I had to slice them thinner in order to get them fully cooked in the 30min at 350. Also next time I will cut back on the rosemary a bit as it was slightly overpowering.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I love this recipe, although the cooking time didn't work out for us so it was a little more pudding than cheesecake. Still great flavors and texture!

A good twist for those of us bored with the same old chicken marinades. Made it as written and turned out great.

My fiance's new favorite! We ended up baking instead of grilling, and it tasted just as good.

Monkey Bread I

This is amazing! It's like a cinnamon roll and baklava all in one! I used a bundt pan and found that I only needed 2 packages of biscuits. I also used white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts worked into the pan.

These are amazing! I did however swap carrots out for chocolate chips. I need that chocolate fix in the morning. Also my fiance can't keep his hands off of these!

Orzo Delicioso

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
This is delicious! I made a few modifications though. Instead of white wine I used white grape juice, and instead of using a fresh tomato I used a can of diced tomatoes. I also added shrimp to make this dish a full meal.

Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Very good. I used spinach as my green though as that's what I'm used to in this soup. Be careful if not serving immediately though, because those little orzos will suck up all the broth if stored.

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
I altered this recipe a bit by using a can of carrots and a can of peas instead of fresh carrots and celery. This may have changed it enough to get away from the "bland" taste some reviewers got, because I found this recipe delicious. Also I cooked up 8oz of elbow macaroni instead of egg noodles and that was more than enough. However I think I'll add more chicken next time. As for the dishes comment it's not bad at all if you wash and reuse as you go. I live in an apartment with a kitchen you can barely turn around in and I wasn't overwhelmed by the cleanup.
