Chocolate Gravy II

I had never heard of Chocolate Gravy before finding the recipe on this site, but this Yankee absolutely loved it! I added it to drop biscuits and a side of bacon - yum! Absolute comfort food...

Spicy Pumpkin Chili

This is by far my favorite chili recipe, and I've used it often when autumn comes around. It makes the house smell amazing, and everyone loves it. I often substitute ground turkey for ground beef, but I think I might try an all-vegetarian version by adding another can of beans. My family likes very spicy chili, so I usually add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. of cayenne. The recipe is so good and flavorful as-is, you don't need cheese or sour cream. I usually eat it with some crusty bread.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

I made this for my husband, and we thought it was great. Instead of cooking the pasta, I put the nine noodles in a separate pan of hot water while preparing the other ingredients. I added feta cheese to each layer of mozzarella and made my own gravy (tomato sauce). The only other thing I would suggest is using 32 oz. of tomatoes or tomato sauce instead of the recommended 28 oz because the extra liquid is needed if you don't cook the lasagne noodles beforehand. (And I don't recommend pre-cooking them because they will cook properly in the oven, without any gumminess.)

Fat Pete's Fudge

I thought this fudge was way too sweet, but it was very easy to make. I made it for Christmas and family members enjoyed it. I followed one reviewer's suggestion and added half of the peanut butter to the mixture in the pot and swirled the rest of the peanut butter into the 9x13 pan. Since you need to work quickly, I recommend mixing your chocolate chips, candy, marshmallow, etc. together in a large bowl while your butter, sugar and evaporated milk is heating. Then, just add the entire bowl of ingredients to the pot in one shot.
