Cranberry Salad VII

I love this salad. My mother passed this recipe to me and I make it everytime I find fresh cranberries. Makes it better in my opinion. I also use a large sugar-free raspberry jello instead of the one listed. Awesome sauce even for those who don't like cranberries!!

Smoky Barbecue Sauce

I've been doing a version of this for years covering meatloaf for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking adding some mustard to the recipe. I also like it a bit spicier so I add more wooster, liquid smoke, cayenne pepper for our tastes. Also keeps well in the fridge. It's awesome on burgers too!!! I keep a container in the fridge and heat up to cover a variety of meats.

Chocolate Pretzels

These are awesome and super easy and quick to make. The longest part is unwrapping the kisses!! I like dark chocolate and those melted really well. I use just small pretzel twists and don't bother searching for the round ones and they work out well for me. I used a straw to push my M & M's in the middle then pop them in the fridge to set up for a bit. My family and everyone at the office love these. It's a great snack for those who like a salty/sweet mix. I'll make a batch of these a month and keep them in the fridge to grab two or three as a snack!!

Spicy Pretzels

I've made these for many occasions and everyone loves them. I have tweaked the original recipe from garlic salt to powder and I also bake them for about 10 minutes in a 300 degree oven to set the flavor better. I make several batches at a time and dump the pretzels in the baggies and mix up the oil and spices in my measuring cup by-passing another bowl to clean up. Putting them in gallon baggies on the counter and shaking them up and turn them over every time I walk by. After several hours of this I bake them. I also up the cayenne for spicier pretzels for friends who like a little spicer kick!! I have friends who beg me to make these for them they love them so much!!! Great for parties, crowds or just the family.

Spicy Sausage Quiche

Awesome! I made this for breakfast and it was a big hit! I have to admit I cheated a bit. I had some turkey sausage crumbles in the fridge so I used them instead of frying mine. I liked the idea someone mentioned of adding Rotel so I drained a can and layered my sausage some chopped onion the Rotel more chopped onion (never can be too much onion for us!) then added the can of drained green chilies,cheese and egg/spice mixture. Having no chili powder I used a bit more cumin and threw in some cayenne pepper. Yum!!! Going back for seconds now!!

Taco Twists

I made these tonight with a bit of a twist. I added a bit of cayenne pepper and didn't have the whole 8 oz of salsa but added what I did have. I also wasn't real sure how to do the crescent roll part so I made up my own version. I unrolled them, took the two still together and closed the perferation instead of separting them forming a rectangle. I then cut them into two squares and sifted a bit of yellow cornmeal on each side and pressed them into greased muffin tins then added the meat mixture. I made Taco Muffins instead of the twists baked them at 375 for about 15 min until they were done. My version makes eight muffins but they are very filling!! Turned out awesome!! Definitely a recipe that will be repeated. I also would like to try using taco meat next time as well!!

Leftover Pizza Breakfast Casserole

Yum yum give me more Mum. That's what I heard yesterday morning. Awesome recipe. We used our leftover Papa Murphy's pizza and it turned out great. We actually wanted more! Thanks for sharing! :-)
