Sushi Time

We have started a wonderful tradition at our house I thought I'd share with everybody about.  When I have a get together with the girls, we've started rolling sushi.  Everybody gets a rolling mat, and I prepare loads of ingredients to put into the sushi itself.  Shrimp, chives, mango, cucumber, grated carrots, wasabi, and whatever else I feel like.  It's loads of fun, and tastes so fresh.  We make the traditional sushi aswell as the "inside out" california rolls.  One person usually winds up doing a lot of the cutting, and since I'm the host I end up making loads of rice so it's always warm and at the right temperature.  It's delicious, and since I can't just make it for myself, it's a good excuse to make sushi.  Often people go home with plates for their families.  We have one coming up...I'll take pictures and post recipes if I can.  I was wondering though if anyone else has fun tradiations like this that they do for get togethers?  I recently read a blog about one woman making a bunch of crepes with her freinds with different toppings.  Yum!
