Poor Man's Hamburger Steaks

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
Great recipe! I didn't add the mushrooms, but it tastes good anyways.. Crackers surprisingly worked very well, I'm used to using bread crumbs, and was afraid that it wouldn't work very well but it worked perfectly. Thanks for the recipe!

Ham, Potato, and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
Yumm! Really good. I made some changes though. Firstly, I had a ham bone, so I boiled the ham bone with water and one onion. I boiled it for 1 1/2 hours, discarded the ham bone and then added all the other ingredients. I did use real cheese, not processed cheese, just because I don't care for the taste of processed cheese. Then I added some spices, and it tasted delicious! I made it a little too salty, but that it totally my fault.. Thanks for the recipe! It was very good and the whole family loved it!

Cocoa Ripple Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
Delicious! Even though I overbaked it, it didn't dry out! The chocolate inside was a great idea, gave it a pretty design and tastes yummy. I did not use the Chocolate Glaze, I sprinkled with powdered sugar (which was the other suggestion) and I did not use Crisco Baking Sticks, I used margarine instead. Thanks for the recipe, tastes great.

Quick Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
Very Good Recipe! Nice light and fluffy.. went very nicely with our soup. I was afraid that they wouldn't turn out very well because they wouldn't double in size the first time, I think maybe it wouldn't hurt if you told us how long to wait for it to double, because if you are a beginner like me, you have no idea :) So, they didn't double in size the first time, but the second time, after being in the muffin cups, did double in size and they cooked perfectly. Very yummy, everybody enjoyed them. Also, I did not use shortening, I used regular margarine. Seemed to work fine. Thanks for the recipe, we very much liked them.

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
This recipe was the best graham cracker crust ever! I used graham wafer crumbs and didnt change any of the ingredients. I added the cinnamon like the recipe suggests and you could definetly taste it and it tastes really yummy! I used it with a chocolate pudding pie and the chocolate and cinnamon went together nicely.

Cranberry Cheese Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
This was a good recipe. I didn't have the can of whole berry cranberry sauce, so I used a can of jellied cranberry sauce and then mixed it with some cranberries. It came out well, however, I think next time I will double the cream cheese mixture because I would've liked to taste some more cream cheese more than all the crust and cranberries. Overall, a good recipe :) Thanks for sharing

Buckeye Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2011
I really really enjoyed this recipe, however, I read the reviews, and saw that lots of people used 3 cups of confectioners sugar instead of 1 pound. So I used the 3 cups, it turned out perfect, they were a big hit. Then the next time I made them, I made them with the whole pound of confectioners sugar and they didn't turn out well at all.. They were very crumbly, and I had to add alot more peanut butter to them to make them so you are able to roll them into balls.. But, the taste was great, the whole family really enjoyed these. Thankyou for your recipe!

Thai Spiced Barbecue Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
I tried these shrimp, smelled pretty good but the texture was really gross, maybe it was just the curry paste that I used, the taste of the shrimp was pretty good, but I couldn't get past the texture. Thanks anyways

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
These are by far the best pork chops that I have ever tasted. I followed the recipe exactly, except that I didn't use vegetable oil, I used olive oil since that was all I had on hand. I also doubled the recipe, next time I will triple it, it was so yummy. I (accidently) marinated it for 2 days! I put it in the fridge to let it sit in the juice for a couple hours, but we had other dinner plans so it got left in there for 2 days and it tasted delicious. I, like many other reviewers broiled the pork chops after cooking them and it was well worth the wait, so great. The whole family loved them, even the ones who don't usually like pork chops :) Thanks for sharing your great recipe.

Pretty Good Meatloaf.. I wouldn't say that it's the best I've ever tasted, but it's pretty good, I thought that the cheese was kinda weird..
