Chicken and Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
I gave this a four because while I thought it was a three, my girlfriend thought it was a five. I made a few minor changes- I used low fat sour cream to cut the fat. I added chicken broth because it seemed a little thick to me, I also added some garlic powder, lots of black pepper, and a dash of salt. It was still a little bland for me, but I think it's because I boiled the chicken. I think next time I will sautee the chicken and veggies. I really liked the sour cream biscuits. They really make this recipe. It looks pretty and homemade when it comes out of the oven.

Cheesecake Cupcakes

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
I followed the reveiwers advice and used three eggs instead of five, and my cupcakes turned out great. I also made my sour cream topping ahead of time, and I had no problems with it, it was very, very good. I have to say I liked them warm better than cold.

Fruity Fun Skewers

These are fun! FYI, to stop apples from browning squeeze lemon juice on them before putting them on the skewer :)

Nell's Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
I love this recipe. I am lazy...obviously, so I used the preshredded mix of coleslaw. I would suggest pouring the dressing in a little at a time, you might not need all of it. This is my favorite substitute for coleslaw, being a southern lady I go to lots of BBQs and I cook fried chicken all the time, but I hate coleslaw, so this is a great alternative. Thank you.

Really tasty. A little too much cream cheese for my taste, but still very yummy.

Butter Beef

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
Do not use salted butter! I didn't pay attention and the recipes was way too salty. I think I will make it again but next time I will coat the meat in flour and brown it on the stove in a little olive oil. I added half a can of beef broth to my crock pot to start it off with moisture so that the crock pot wouldn't pull the moisture from the beef. It was very tender. I think this recipe is a great idea.

Campbell's® Fish and Vegetable Skillet

Reviewed: May 17, 2012
This was very good, and the vegetables cut like matchsticks made the dish very pretty. I would sugest using more veggies than the recipe calls for, they were the best part. I also cooked them a little longer, because I like my veggies more well done than many people.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2014
I loved this recipe. I changed very little. I didn't have seasoned salt or cooking sherry, so I used regular salt and simply omitted the sherry. I made four larger patties instead of 8 small ones. The only complaint I had is I wish there was more gravy, so text time I may add an extra cup of broth and a bit more flour? The taste was just right and comforting. I served it with mashed potatoes.
