Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
The only thing I'd change about this recipe would be to add some shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. I used a potato slicer to shred the potatoes so they ended up more scalloped than shredded, but the potatoes stuck together nicely and got a nice crisp outside!

Apple Strudel Muffins

Delicious! Like most others, I did half brown and half white sugar, and doubled the apples. I also drizzled some caramel syrup over top.. yum!!

Definitely the world's best lasagna! Make sure to use fresh mozzarella.. it makes all the difference! I didn't have sausage on hand, but even without, it was delicious!!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
Loved this recipe! The only thing I'd change would be to almost double the "goo" mixture since the vegetables soak it up so much and it got a bit dried out. Otherwise, fantastic!

Peach Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
I would've liked a more dense and juicy peach pie, but unfortunately this one was dry and bland. Maybe next time I'd try adding more vegetable oil & some of the canned peach juice in addition.

Buttermilk Syrup

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This recipe wasn't very sweet and had a bitter, alcohol-like flavor. I'm not sure what might have went wrong, but I follow the recipe and didn't care for it.

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
Delicious! I didn't have fresh fruit so I subbed frozen blueberries and it turned out wonderful. I also added a couple chopped frozen strawberries to give it a sweeter, unique flavor. This recipe isn't too sweet, so the only thing I'd suggest is that if you like sweet, add just a tad bit more sugar!

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
Delicious as it is! I might try adding some corn next time to get it a bit of sweetness and a little crisp, but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing!
