I'm a down-to-earth kind of person, don't care much for facades or shallow, narrow-minded people. Some of the things that I enjoy doing are karaoke, bicycling, train rides, yoga, belly dancing, making beaded jewelry, playing my violin, antiquing, walks along the beach, movies and cooking.
My favorite things to cook
One-pot creations, such as: stews, soups, chili, casseroles, crock pot meals and pot roast with roasted potatoes & carrots. Spaghetti w/homemade sauce (mushrooms, red bell pepper, onion & garlic in the sauce) with either ground sausage, ground beef or whole Italian sausage.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family never ever really had any "family cooking traditions". I don't know! Does "cheap & easy" count as a cooking tradition?
My cooking triumphs
Finally mastering in making lump-free, to-die-for gravies!
My cooking tragedies
Chicken enchiladas: the shells kept disintegrating on me!
Tamale Pie: it came out like mush!
Both were very good, just nothing you could recognize! LOL
