Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2014
Exactly like they are supposed to be. Made them for husbands customers. They loved them. And yes they are difficult to form into balls. I think this is normal. Like someone else said press hard! also not too sweet but I liked them.

Sweet and Spicy Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
i was looking for a recipe without ketchup or other tomato based sauce. this one was excellent. as did another reviewer i used white vinegar and sweet chili sauce only because thats what i had on hand. i wont be buying sweet and sour sauce again. this was easy and so much better!

Salmonettes

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
Kids liked it (3 and 13 y/o) husband thought was bland. I don't eat fish but had some fresh salmon given to me. I picked this recipe because of the simple ingredients so substituted the canned with fresh. Consistency was good and fried up nicely. Possibly canned fish is salty and would add flavor?

Strawberry Summer Salad

Had strawberries that needed to be eaten. Followed the recipe as written. Delicious! Husband loved it too. My sister allergic to strawberries so put tangerine slices in hers and was equally good.

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
I picked this recipe because it was simple and didn't have any unusual ingredients. They turned out great. Some say the dough was sticky and I did notice it was "wet" in the bread machine, but after the first rise, it was fine. Here in Southern California I did notice that I have to either add yeast or really put any bread dough in a very warm place (like on the stove while the oven is open and on very low). I guess if you do not bake much you wouldn't know that in some areas dough just does not rise as well. Also I did not make the frosting part it was great without it. The butter and cinnamon that melted to the bottom made them even better.
