I'm all about simple and homemade. I try not to use packaged products. Since I don't have a lot of time to devote to food prep and cooking, I usually have main courses with ~4 ingredients. I am known to forage in my refrigerator with no forethought to what I will be cooking and to add sauces/marinades willy-nilly.
