Bland at best.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
This is my favorite way to eat salmon. I'm not a big fan of salmon because of its "fishiness" and I don't like honey mustard, but something about the combination is magical. Delicious!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
This is amazing. It tastes like a restaurant made it, but much much better than the frozen ones. I bought roasted garlic flavored alfredo sauce so I didn't have to take the time to roast the garlic. I also put a little raw garlic in because I love it. I already bought ingredients to make it again.

Easy Masoor Daal

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2004
This is so easy and tasty! I make this all the time and my husband loves it. It's a bit spicy for those who don't like spice, so I cut back a little on the cayenne and add lemon juice before serving. I also don't have cumin seeds so I use ground cumin and it comes out perfectly. A little cilantro is an excellent addition if you have it.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2004
This is delicious! I have made this about 4 times now and it always comes out great. I usually cut back on the cayenne pepper a bit because I use the cooked chicken in other recipes and the cayenne flavor doesn't alwyas "work" with other recipes. Definitely a keeper, though.

Great Hot Crab Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2003
Mmmm! This tastes just like the crab dip at my favorite restaurant, but a lot cheaper!

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2003
This was awesome! Not too sweet, but lots of flavor. I tripled the sauce (except the olive oil) and cooked the fish in a deep pan with it. Fabulous.

Veggie Delight on Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2002
Although I added goat cheese for a little extra flavor, I was a bit disappointed with the intensity of flavor overall. Unfortunately, I did not have fresh herbs on hand so I used dried herbs (2x as much), so that may be reason for the perceived lack of flavor. Maybe it just needs more salt. I must agree with everyone that it is a very tasty dish and I looked forward to eating the leftovers (with extra salt :)

Buffalo Chicken Wings I

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2002
These wings are sooo good! I bake mine in the oven for 45 minutes at 425 on the broiler pan so the grease can fall off, then toss them in the crockpot for spicy coating. Maybe that's a *little* healthier ;) My husband doesn't like very spicy food and these were perfect for him (I added tabasco to mine before serving).

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2002
So delicious I couldn't wait to have leftovers! Don't even *think* about cooking this if you want something light and healthy though. Lots of oil, and you can't drain off the beef fat.

Cream of Spinach Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2002
I *loved* this soup! I would have eaten it all in one sitting, but it's very filling. I used 2% milk and didn't have any problems getting it thick enough.

Barbecued Beef

Very yummy! I added spicy mustard to the buns before serving for that "Carolina mustard" barbeque taste.

Double Crust Bean Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2001
Very tasty, but the leftovers didn't keep well. Also, I recommend following the directions on the readymade pie crust package instead of these directions - mine took almost 2 hours to brown! It was easy, though, and I probably will try a variation of it again.
