Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2013
The entire family loved it, even my husband, who typically denounces baked chicken, and my son, who has the horrific early leanings of a vegetarian. Husband requested that this be added to our repertoire. Ingredients are things I typically have on hand and it came together quickly, even though I started last minute with frozen chicken breasts. Cleanup wasn't bad either.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
this sangria was fantastic. i made it for a playdate luncheon and the other mamas swooned. i did substitute gin and cointreau for the brandy and triple sec; it was a wonderful crisp drink. i skipped the sugar and marischino cherries, and added about 1/2 the ginger ale. warning, this drink packs a POWERFUL punch, and it is easy to drink a lot without realizing it. needless to say, everyone was at my house for a good long time. but even the non-sangria fans were true devotees before the day ended. last word of advice: make a double recipe at LEAST!
