Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
delicious chicken recipe...coming from teen i used half milk and mayo,.. and added more spices, like coriander, cumin, onion, red pepper etc and it was little spicy. Thats what made it unique and Caribean like chicken. Will make it again, in future.

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
didnt like it at all, i tried w/ both oil and shortheing version. tastes like a sugar dough with baking powder. I am quite a good baker, and think will go back to butter sugar creaming method,, normal cake baking.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
awesome recipe next to Best Brownies from this websites. These are now my two favourites right now. The reason I give it 4 star is it went real dry the next day. I halved the recipe to 4 serving by the way.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
good recipe, if you are a fan of fugde like chocolate cake, but I am not. i like those fluffy, moist chocolate cake but not dense ones. anyways but this recipe is good, very easy to make easier than any cake i have made. But the only problem, it stucks to the pan often, so use wax paper or parchement to line the bottom of the pan.

Grandmother's Pound Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
perfect pound cake if you are looking a for good old fashioned pound cake thats dense and moist in a really good way. I made it many times since I saw it last month and comes out perect everytime. I add 1 tsp vanilla and 11/2 tsp baking powder when i made 6 servings. The recipe makes large number so I always halve it to 6. EDIT* i made it again today Jan 7th 2011, in 30 servings, and substituted milk with whipping cream cuz i had some and wanted to finish it before it spoils and also added 1/2 tsp baking powder and vanilla because i like it to rise a bit. It was delicious everyone, from dad to neighbours devoured it

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
it was crumbly, dry, sort fudgy. I didnt like the cake but it had good taste. its also stuck to pan, icouldnt gte it out of my bundt pan by any means, even tho i buttered nd greased it well enough or s it seemed. I used oil insteand of butter yet it turned bad but no tthat, usually choc cakes made w/ oil tastes better than butter for me atleast. i also used hot milk instead of water and i think thats what made it goodc to eat and not throw in the grabage. the recipe is similar to one bowl choclatte cake in this website. Not so good. I wont make it again

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
this is best brownie recipe, truly the most delicious homemade brownies I have made and tasted so far. I have been looking for a 'perfect' brownie reipe for quite a while and luckily I have found one. the best thing about this recipe is that its easy to prepare took me less that 15 mins to mix and they aremouthwatering. I took few to my friends in school and they loved it. my review is if you want a fudgy brownie, DONT mix with a elctric mixer, and beat the eggs slightly with a fork before adding it to batter. Very IMP..
