Whole Grain Waffles
These are very good! They did come out crisp on the outside and tender on inside. I used 1 cup ap flour and about 1/2 cup of whole wheat. No flax or wheat germ, but I buzzed up some steel cut oats in the processor and used those instead. Everyone loved them. Keeper!

Chocolate Cherry Cake III
OK - we were FIGHTING over this cake. I served it to at a small dinner with friends and my family fought over the leftovers for the rest of the week (actually it didnt last that long). It is soo good and yet so stupidly easy! The frosting is wonderful - I've made it since - I put it on brownies, but it belongs on this cake - no comparison.

Baked Scallops
This was honestly the best scallop dish I have cooked at home! I did add bacon (because scallops and bacon are a happy marriage). Used combo of panko and regular breadcrumbs and shredded romano instead of parm because that is what I had on hand. For the bacon - I diced up 2 slices and cooked and crumbled it and added with the scallops (covering all w/ the butter). SOOO GOOD!
