The Best Steak Marinade

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake II

followed recipe to a T almost... runny runny runny. The flavor of the cheesecake mixture wasn't bad but it turned into a runny mess. Maybe I followed the recipe wrong with my change- it called for 2- 3oz pkgs of cream cheese. Never in my life have I seen a 3 oz package of cream cheese. I used 2 8oz packages, the normal size packages. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! I gave some to the kids and none of them hardly touched it and went without dessert instead.

Charleston Breakfast Casserole

Followed recipe exactly, put together on Christmas Eve then refrigerated. On Christmas morning I put in the oven while the kids were opening their presents. Was delicious.

Slow Cooker Lasagna II

I used my own way of making the sauce and use the no boil noodles however I did use the recipe for the layering and on the cheese mixture. I used more sauce then the recipe called for and took the lid off my slow cooker for about 20 minutes while the bread was cooking in the oven so it would thicken up fully. It turned out better than when I make in the oven. Will make in slow cooker again- thanks for the idea!!!

Very easy. I love having it together at night then popping in the oven in the morning. The kids went ga ga over it! I am gonna make it for them tomorrow morning. First time was a couple weeks ago and they asked for it today.

Beef and Cheese Baked Pasta

I made this last night. It wasn't bad. It tasted pretty much like lasagna. It was easier than lasagna is though so I will probably use this recipe again. 3 out of 4 kids ate it up so that is always good. Served it with a salad and bread.

Poke Cake III

I didn't use the pie filling only because it was a snow day here and I was working with what I had. I used a white cake mix, added green food coloring and then used strawberry Jello to make it more Christmas colors. The kids ate it up and loved how it looked. Next time I will use the pie filling I think though- I love that idea.

Store was out of Halloween Oreos so I used regular, used craisins instead of raisins and added some Halloween Peanut M&Ms. Very easy, kids love it!!!

Slower Cooker Meatloaf

I tweaked the original recipe but it actually turned out pretty well. I added some bread crumbs, used a package of meatloaf seasoning instead of the onion soup mix. I did not use the steak seasoning, added a couple shakes of Worcestershire sauce instead. I added potatoes to it as a few others suggested to soak up the grease while cooking and the potatoes turned out great! All in all this was a good base recipe and the texture of the meatloaf was perfect. Did not fall apart and was cooked perfectly.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

These were just OK. I feel though that maybe the potatoes could have been cooked a little longer- probably my fault not the recipe. I didn't fry my own bacon, used pre cooked. Next time I will fry my own. They did warm up well the next day though, better than when I made them. I will try again to see.

Oven Fried Chicken II

This recipe was just OK. I felt like it was missing something. Maybe next time I may add a few more spices to it and use regular bread crumbs instead of the Italian ones. I used chicken breasts and like others cut back on the oil a little. I will try again and play around with it some. Kids didn't hate it so that's a plus.
