Red Cabbage Salad

This is a refreshing change from the same old veggie salad and the dressing isn't as overpowering as in some other recipes.Both my familly and I enjoyed this salad.

Red Cabbage With Apricots And Balsamic Vinegar

This cabbage salad is a nice variation from the usual apple-cabbage salad. My husband and I enjoyed this with pork chops and small roasted new potatoes.I will definitely be making this again.

Coq au Creme

This dish is wonderful! I made one alteration by using low fat sour cream and increasing the flour to thicken the sauce. Everyone had seconds and asked when we could have this again. This recipe doesn't dissapoint!

Cashew Raisin Rice Pilaf

This rice dish is delicious...a wonderful combination of flavours and textures.It's like music for the mouth! The only thing I did differently was to toast the cashews before adding them to the rice.I will be making this again and again and again!

Turkey Sausage Breakfast

This was good, but I found that 60 minutes was too long a cooking period in a glass dish and 45 minutes would have sufficed.I served it with a fresh fruit salad and croissants for brunch and it was enjoyed by everyone.

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

These cookies exceeded my expectations...they were so good my family gobbled them up before they made it to the cookie jar! I made a few changes... I used caramilk instead of caramels, which gave the cookie a soft, gooey centre and I added a 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the dough.I divided the dough into 48 portions after several hours refrigeration and then re-chilled it, as suggested by another reviewer. This made it easy to wrap the individual candies. I highly recommend these cookies...they're the new favorite at our house .
