Holiday Cranberry-Pomegranate Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2013
I found this recipe many years ago and it has become a tradition in our house at Thanksgiving. My whole family loves it, including my kids who look forward to it. My favorite part of the recipe is the ground cloves and cinnamon. The spices add so much flavor and smell so good while cooking! The pomegranate adds texture and a little crunch. If you are looking for something bland or mild, this is not the recipe for you. If you are looking for something bold and packed full of flavor, you will love it! Thank you for posting this fabulous recipe!

Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
This salad is fabulous! I have made this several times. I stuck to the instructions from the recipe to add pecans and sugar in the pan (no water) and they turned out perfect. I brought this to a fancy dinner party and everyone loved it.

Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
My family loves this flavorful recipe! It has become a regular in our fall/winter rotation. We are a family of 5, so I use a large rotisserie chicken and the family size cream of chicken soup. Like many of the others here, I also add extra curry and lemon juice because that's what give it such a tasty and unique flavor. I have tried using the canned mushrooms, but prefer fresh and I just throw them in. No need to sautee them first, as they cook up fine in the oven. Thank you for this great recipe!

Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
This is such a fabulous and refreshing summer salad. It's great for family BBQs and my kids love it. I use 1 1/2 lbs of green grapes and 1 1/2 lbs of red grapes. Taste them in the store when buying so you don't end up with a salad full of sour grapes. Leaving the cream cheese out to get soft is a must, or you will end up with lumps. I only add a tiny bit of brown sugar and sliced almonds to the top as garnish, as the topping is a little too sweet for my taste. It does feed more than 8 people, which is great for potlucks.

Death by Chocolate

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Thank you for this fabulous recipe! I make it a lot for potlucks or gatherings and it is ALWAYS a hit. I have made this recipe exactly as stated and also changed it up a bit. Instead of German chocolate, I use brownies and omit the coffee entirely. I found with the German chocolate, it is a little too light for me and prefer something a little more decadent. It is so easy to make alterations and variations, but I always look to this recipe for the basics. If you haven't tried this, it is a guaranteed hit!
