Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

This was definitely a delicious soup! I tried to cut the chicken up into canned-soup-like pieces. And I also cooked the paste just a little past raw so it would not taste raw.

Pizza Macaroni Bake

This dish turned out all right, but I like juicer Sausage Macaroni Bake -- a very similar dish -- much better. My dinner partner said she liked it, so I added a star.

Marinated Flank Steak

Blast flavor to your taste buds by marinating the full hours or better. Lift marinaded meat into skillet with a suitable dredger/fork to allow it to drain and stir-fry until all the liquid has evaporated, transferring full flavor to the beef -- but do not cook until dry. (Give the hungry pooch the raw beef marinade.) This was an amazing marinade that I made with fajitas consisting of large soft tortilla wraps, stir-fried onions and yellow & orange bell peppers. I was looking for a lemon marinade because I had fresh lemons but no fresh limes. Delicious! . . . And definitely going into my recipe box as a favorite.

Peanut Butter Hummus from JIF®

I wouldn't personally trade it for tahini sesame paste, but its depth of flavor is very good. My recipe was a little short on fresh lemon juice, making it a bit dense and heavy, and I added 3 tsp. of curry powder (a little richer than most, I would guess) for a certain "must-have" flavor. I think the parsley enriches its flavor and that the sesame oil also adds extra depth. I found it amazing served with whole wheat pita bread, even if it was too dense. How would other readers fluff up a dense hummus?

Daisy Brand Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

An excellent cake with the flavors of sour cream and chocolate delicately blended into a moist but not-too-sweet cake. My favorite part was the sour cream frosting, oh-so-good. I would recommend not to take any shortcuts on melting the chocolate squares and not higher than 30-PRW in the microwave oven so that the chocolate won't burn. Yeah, it takes more than a couple minutes but at least it won't turn into two ounces of briquette!

Blueberry Pancakes

An excellent recipe enjoyed by each of us. Frozen blueberries were taken from freezer and rinsed with filtered water. Homemade yogurt was used (slightly sweetened with honey) & skim milk. Just right!
