I am a very dedicated wife and mother to the most wonderful people on earth! I have 2 girls, and one boy aging from 2 to 6. I love to cook, I love to see people eat my food, and I love to experiment with food. Birthday cakes (or any other celebration cake), Halloween cookies, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner all together. Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays more than any with the kids - they slow things down and make an enormous mess but I love it! With so much trial and error - too many to list. When you don't have any professional training or a family member who would share secrets and recipes, the smallest pot of soup is a triumph! Although it has been a while, and had been several years when I actually did this last one, it was the kind of bite you take, make a ugly face at the person who cooked it, shake vigorously, spit out and down a glass of milk while eating a thick slice of bread trying to get the taste out of your mouth! But in my defense, I was pregnant and as any woman knows, your brain is in prego function and doesn't operate correctly. It just had to be Christmas dinner - having a prego moment when I used apple cider VINEGAR instead of apple cider in my apricot glazed duck breast. To this day, I have not made that recipe again.
