Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2013
This was a great recipe that turned out better than I expected. I did add Italian seasoning and garlic powder to it, which I think really boosted the flavor. It was a little dense for me, I think next time I will try the suggestion of combining yeat and water first to make a thinner crust.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
This lasagna is the best I have had. I mainly love the sauce for it though, I make it the sauce and freeze it and use it for spaghetti noodles. I omit ground beef though for it to be cheaper and I personally don't like mixing pork and beef although I know it is more authentic.

Tomatoes With Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
SO GOOD...I usually use roma or campari (sp) tomatoes and just quarter them or something. I can eat a whole thing of tomatoes prepared this way in one day (with my husband) make exactly as is except I do not add lettuce and use kosher salt instead of seasoned.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
My husband and I love this. I usually put potatoes in raw before broth boils then cook it until potatoes are tender but not so tender they are all mashed. I mash and break some up then add the rest of the ingredients-but 1 c half and half 1 c 2 percent milk, and a TON of hot sauce bc that's how I like it. I also add a little more bacon and basil and pepper just to my taste. Very good as is though and cheap to make! Better than any restaurant potato soup I have had!

Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
YUM YUM! I grated onion added less than 1/4 cup maybe a couple tblspns. Added mustard not mustard powder bc I didnt have. Didn't add American cheese bc I didnt have. added Worschester (little splash) and added baylead in milk mixture. Also added cheese and paprika on top. Sprinkled with panko at end and i had it in a shallow pan so there was more surface area=more crunch

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
AMAZING the best Tres Leches I ever had...and I made it! LOL the onlyyyy thing I would say is I would add a TINY bit less sugar to it but it was still heavenly. That is a perfect word for it.

Best Ever Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
This recipe is good, but it was too sweet for me. Also, I think the bisquick mix/corn ratio was off. Too little corn flavor. But texture and flavors were good, just not what I was looking for in a Corn Muffin personally.

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
I make this recipe, followed exactly, with an organic earl black tea and it tastes JUST like STARBUCKS black iced tea. This is good, and I live in the South and drink Tea instead of soda!

Special Butterscotch Chip Cookies in a Jar

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
I just made these FOLLOWED the recipe exactly (except omitted coconut bc I dont like) and yeah...these are REALLY GOOD. Also about 100 cal per cookie. I make the Nestle Tollhouse recipe w/cchips, butterscotch chips, and melt the butter and they are good. These are good because they are good the second day too. I usually don't like crunchy cookies but these are crunchy without being dry or falling apart. Just don't overcook them. I have learned to take cookies out a little bit before they look "done".

Used challah bread. Maybe the pan was too big but the milk egg mix/ bread porportions were a little off

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2010
This recipe was awsome...the only thing I didn't like about it was the portion size was small:) I also added vanilla in the egg and mixed with brown sugar also. Probably would have also added a pinch more salt. Will Def. make again!
