Garlic Croutons

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2014
Love these! I'm not a HUGE fan of croutons, but my husband likes them. These are easy and much better than store bought.

BLT Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2014
Was suppose to bring a bacon themed appetizer to a party. Thought I'd give this a try...Surprised that it tasted so much like a BLT. I placed dip on a bed of shredded lettuce for the "L" that was missing. Served with plain Ruffles. MUST cook your own bacon! It went fast! Used 2 tomatoes.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
So easy and quick with awesome flavor. I did use a little less butter and mayo and increased the parmesan and lemon a smidge. Also I didn't have basil, so I used Italian seasoning.

Mom's Coleslaw

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
Finally I can make coleslaw! I've tried several recipes, but it never tastes right. This is the perfect proportion of mayo, sugar, and vinegar. The true test was when my husband loved it =)

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
By the time the bacon was cooked crispy enough, the smokies were kind of overcooked.

Mushroom Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
The first time making these I made the mistake of using the food processor to chop the mushrooms and onion, and it made it so moist that I had to add bread crumbs to even pat out the burgers. They ended up having a mushy consistency. Taste was good, just not a good texture. Second time I hand chopped them so they weren't so fine. Also used about half the amount of mushrooms. Added the blue cheese to the mix as suggested by others...Perfect!

Spicy Three Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
Tasty hummus the first time I made it. However, adding about a half of a 12oz jar of roasted red peppers made it exceptional!!

Libby's® Pumpkin Roll with Cream Cheese Filling

Very easy, and so delicious!! Always a hit! Be sure to cook the cake long enough or it tends to stick to the paper a little.

Three-Meat Stromboli

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
I've been making this for years, and it's always a hit! My least favorite part is rolling out the dough, so that has become my husband's part of the process =)

Sausage Gravy III

I had never made sausage gravy before I found this recipe. It was way easier than I thought it would be. I usually half the recipe for just my husband and myself.

Spinach Salad with Pepper Jelly Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2010
This salad was delicious! I used my own pepper jelly with feta cheese and pecans as someone suggested. My husband also liked it, and he doesn't even like pepper jelly (I didn't tell him I used it).
