Most people photograph their Red Velvet cakes sliced to show off the gorgeous red color. Mine...not so much. My seldom-used food coloring vial was as dry as the Sahara. I tried to valiantly resurrect some coloring back by carefully adding water to the vial, but I still ended up with plain-Jane l MORE

Good cake but bad frosting.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops
First, there were too many eggs listed for ingredients. Then, too many bread crumbs. Then it calls for browning the garlic and removing it; the result is not much garlic flavor. Would not make again.

Ukrainian Chicken Kiev
This was pretty good, but there was a lack of seasoning (salt) which I thought could be overlooked but very noticeable when eating it. Agree with reviewers that making a slit in the chicken would be easier than pounding, but the chicken held together well in the pan when rolled and skewered. All the flavored butter oozed out; maybe this would not happen if the breasts were slit and not pounded.
