About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
When I was 18 years old, I attempted making chicken cattcitore. I instead, caught my pan on fire in a 100 year old cabin, with flames reaching the ceiling. I was sure the old place was going to blow so I grabbed the dog, who was entraced by the flames, put him in the car and drove to my new husbands job site, as no neighbors were home yet. He'd just left and I broke down to his boss and told him our house was on fire. His boss called the fire dept. and by the time I got home EVERY neighbor and my hubby were home and giggling at the new brides cooking techniques. It was actually a faulty gas line and when we went stove shopping I came home with a new Car.(sigh) I loved that car.... and learned to cook despite myself. :)

Fantastic recipe! One of the best I've found.

Dill Sour Cream Potato Salad
If you make this as it is written it is horrible. All the changes folks have made probably DO make it better but it is sour at best and just tastes rotten, literally! Sorry!!

Simple Chicken Brine
Tasty and simple. I would rinse it as suggested before. I have also used Bragg's amino acids instead of soy sauce. (It is soy based, less sodium) It really does help keep the chicken moist when BBQ'ing!
