Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
Thank you, Grandma Ople! I use this recipe every time I make apple pie. My husband isn't an apple pie fan, but when I make this recipe he cannot get enough! We're big fans of the almost "candy" texture the sauce gives the lattice crust! (I always cut out leaf shapes with cutters and arrange on the apples.) I used a recipe for french pastry dough for the crust, I also sprinkle the apples lightly with a cinnamon-sugar mixture before covering with leaves and the sauce. I used Red Delicious apples instead of Granny Smith, to cut a bit of the tang. (Cooking for a picky husband :) and it was a hit!! So sweet, buttery, and flavorful. I recommend the cinnamon-sugar and Red Delicious apples! (: Thank you again for the amazing recipe!!

Bread Pudding II
This is a great recipe! I had never had bread pudding but I had some delicious buttery rolls I purchased at Kroger that were about to get hard and unappetizing. I went on the search for a bread pudding recipe and I think this is the one I will stick with! I did make a few adjustments: I only added 3 eggs, 4 seemed to be a bit much. With only 3 the texture is to die for. My mom, who's grandmother used to make her bread pudding nearly every time her bread grew old, told me the texture was spot on. I also added a generous sprinkle of cinnamon sugar to the top before baking. Thanks again for the great recipe!

Sugar Cookie Icing
This icing had perfect texture and a glossy finish, it was easily shaped and spread on the cookie, but the flavor was awful, it was so sickly sweet I couldn't stand to eat one. They looked great, but looks were very deceiving.
