Cream of Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
this totally just helped my craving for grilled cheese and tomoto soup! had some v8 in the fridge that i wanted to use up, made a single serving for lunch in no time! used about 1 tbls butter and flour (no onion since it seemed odd to me) and about a cup of v8 then stirred in a little milk to cream it up. very tasty!!!

used this for left over Thanksgiving turkey and it was quite tasty! added some peas (because my husband loves them). wish i would have made a little extra cheese sauce, but i just like creamy food. will use again for leftover poultry!

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
i make this allllll the time for gatherings, everyone loves it! i use ranch instead of bleu cheese (because bleu cheese grosses me out) and use a mix of cheddar and jack cheese since it gives it a little more flavor than mozz. i've done it with canned chicken before, but i usually use leftover chicken breasts since it gives it a better taste. great with celery, crackers and tostitos for dipping!

Margarita Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
Made this for a Mexican themed party and it went over amazingly! Took advice from others, used lemon cake and only lime juice. It stayed super moist! Didn't have other liquor so I just used tequila and thought it was perfect (but we're big tequila people). the icing tasted just like a margarita and the cake was a hit! thanks!

Taco Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
My fiance and I made this last night, didn't have green onions but we put some chopped up regular onion in, left sour cream out since he doesn't eat it (i put it on mine at the table). Didn't have taco seasoning left so used some season salt, cayenne and chili powder... got a little too spicy for my taste, but still really yummy! Can't wait to try again using regular taco seasoning.

Really tasty! This has become one of our regular dinners now. Left out the corn, added a little more cheese. So easy and tastes great!

Roasted Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
these were delicious! i followed the directions exactly except added a bit more cheese, which i do to everything, and used my mandolin to slice the potatoes. its very important they're the same thickness or they don't all cook evenly. covered with foil to bake for the first hour then uncovered and put under broiler for a few minutes to get the top gold and crispy. terrific!

Apple Dumplings II

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
these were a HUGE hit with my in-laws and friends! used pillsbury premade crust, cut each in half and rolled into a square for each apple. didn't use food coloring and added a little brown sugar for the glaze. i basted them throughout the baking and before re-heating after dinner. they were amazing!

Spicy-Sweet Glazed Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
We tried this with Tilapia, we've never really made fish before so didn't know what to expect. My husband really liked it, I thought it was great right out of the oven but after a few bites didn't care for it very much at all.
