Bacon Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies With Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2013
Unfortunately I wasn't a fan. They ended up being too soft and the smokey flavor was overwhelming.

Cream Soup Base

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
It was pretty good but it should have cooked a bit longer after adding milk, there was still a bit of grittiness. It would have received 5 stars if there had been more specific cook times. I ended up adding about 2.5 cups more milk, simmered veggies and rice along with Cheddar and American cheese. It ended up being more of a casserole due to it's thickness caused by the rice but was very tasty.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 17, 2012
As suggested I cut back on the oil and used the mini chocolate chips and the cake was amazing. To my misfortune our bundt pan had been thrown out a few weeks prior due to lack of use. I made this in two 9" pans then used an easy home made vanilla icing between the two to keep them together (milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract). I then drizzled the "Satiny Chocolate Glaze" (http://allrecipes.com/recipe/satiny-chocolate-glaze/detail.aspx) over the top along with the remaining icing. It ended up looking and tasting great! Side note: It was a great way to impress the girlfriend's parents.

Fun, clever, and simple. I imagine this would be a great thing for kids to help make as well.

Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
Excellent results. I actually ended up spilling a bit of the marinade when putting the chicken but it ended up being fine. I let mine sit for about 18 hours and they were great. This is pretty much teriyaki but its good.

Thai Peanut Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
Excellent and easy! Great with lo mein noodles and sauteed chicken! I am sitting here eating as I type. I have to say I'm happy with the final product. Of course I will likely tweak for my personal taste(a tad less cayenne and maybe even a bit more soy and lemon juice). I prepared this in a pot so I could put some sauteed chicken in it to soak up the flavors once I had finished it.
