Taco Salad I

I really didn't like the flavor of the French dressing in this and I would not recommend cooking your meat in it, it created an incredible amount of grease in my pan. This would be better with thousand island dressing tossed in with everything at the end.

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

This is a keeper although I made some minor adjustments. 16 ounces of pasta ended up being waaay to much, it never would have fit in my largest skillet with all the other ingredients, so I only put half of it in the mixture and refrigerated the rest for another use. This didn't take away from the recipe at all, I thought the vegetable/pasta ratio was perfect with only half the pasta. I cooked the pasta a couple minutes less than the package instructed so it could continue cooking in the vegetable mixture and absorb some of the flavor. I originally didn't want to use all the oil that was called for, but ended up adding it all anyway because I doubled the Parmesan cheese and I don't think it would have melted right without the extra fat in there. Resist to the temptation to add extra salt until you've added everything in and let it cook a few minutes. The salt from the bullion and the cheese was just the right amount.

No Bake Cookies III

I looked through a lot of reviews and couldn't figure out if I should be cooking the chocolate mixture on medium or high, so I thought I'd just share that I cooked it on medium high, and let it boil for 1 1/2 minutes (just to be safe) and they turned out perfect. I didn't really have to rush scooping them, the mixture was still plenty soft as I scooped the last spoonful out. They took about 20 minutes until they were hard enough to pick up.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

If you tweak this recipe, its excellent, but as written, it barely deserves 2 stars. 5 hours is way too long to cook chicken with only 1/8 teaspoon of butter and some seasoning. The chicken got extremely dry and tough. After I added the other ingredients the flavors were really good, but the overcooked chicken ruined it. Try Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker chicken from this site. Its much better.
