super easy. nice change from plain spaghetti. I didn't add cheese to top (I didn't have enough) and it was still great. a keeper for sure.

Hearty Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
Really really good. Going to double the recipe next time for seconds/leftovers. I made it with cheddar this time (because that's what I had). I highly recommend Hellman's Mayo, it's the best IMHO.

Carrot and Ginger Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2005
very good! To use what I had on hand- I changed it a bit. Everything the same but I used Butternut squash soup that I had purchased at Trader Joes. I also threw in some leftover chicken broth in place of some of the water(from last nights chicken dinner). I felt the prep work was minimal. I used my blender to puree. Just plan to cook the butternut squash the day before or earlier in the day. If you do that, then you will have the soup done from start to finish in less than 30 minutes. Thanks for your recipe.

Baked Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2004
Made for Thanksgiving. Awesome! I made the potatoes before I started the turkey. I made them and place them in crockpot (instead of oven) on low until we ate (3 hours later). came out perfect. Saved tons of stress doing potatoes early. I used 9 regular potatoes (what I had in cupboard), added 1/4 cup extra milk, otherwise recipe the same. Will use every year from now on. yes, lighter and fluffier. Not too rich to me. Thanks so much for posting this.

Baked Miniature Pumpkins

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2004
Very yummy! this was a side dish tonight. Everyone loved it. I cut the pumpkins open with a pumpkin carving tool (halloween). I use it for most of my squash, easy to use. I used less cinnamon (eyed it) and a pinch of nutmeg. I will make this again soon. This will be a family fall favorite. Thanks for posting. I left the pumpkins in the oven over an hour just because I wasn't ready for them....they turned out perfect.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: May 23, 2004
Yummy! I used less white sugar, only about tablespoon water, tablespoon lemon juice, 5 large granny smith apples, dash nutmeg in with cinnamon, and I didn't melt the butter...I just cut it in mixture until crumbly. A big hit here. Thanks for posting. made it last night, making it again for tonight. Husband loved it, so did I.

Cinnamon Pancakes in a Jar

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2003
AWESOME! YUMMY! Everyone loved them! I made these for my family this morning. I think they are the best I've ever had. I also used one cup milk as suggested in past reveiws. I used gold medal Wondra Quick-Mixing all purpose flour (in box). I like it because it is so fine. I would suggest sifting the dry ingredients so the baking powder gets mixed in well. These are awesome and would make a yummy gift with some real maple surup. Thanks for posting it.

Tuna Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: May 26, 2003
Yum! Yum! Yum! I doubled the sauce recipe, but still only used the one can of tuna and one bag of noodles. I used kraft sharp cheddar cheese in the block- no need to shred, just slice it thin. I used almost the whole 8oz block of cheese since I doubled the sauce. I think the kraft sharp cheddar cheese tastes best -better tasting than the already shredded packs of cheese. I also used frozen peas. Served my family of 5 and still have leftovers for next day lunch. I will make this again. A keeper! Thank you!

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2003
Two thumbs up! I had to make my own italian dressing because I didn't have any in the house (olive oil, red wind vinegar, basil, oregeno, salt, pepper, garlic powder). I didn't have chicken broth on hand so used two bouillon cubes in cup of water. I followed the recipe exactly....except maybe didn't use all of dressing you called for. I'm not sure what people are talking about reducing the cream cheese- I'm glad I didn't (I used the whole bar). Make sure you leave all the juices and dressing in the crock pot so after the one hour of sauce on top of your chicken you mix it all together then pour over rice. Yum! My kids and hubby all RAVED! Excellent as leftovers too (having some now for lunch). For dinner I served over rice- for lunch right now I added some leftover whole cranberry sauce on the side without rice- a tasty combo. This recipe is a keeper in my house! Thanks for posting it :0)

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2002
VERY YUMMY! I'm glad I found this today. I was in the mood for something good. Of course I had to tweak your recipe a bit for my family, but your garlic/ginger/corn starch blend is a keeper! Here is what I did tonight- Hubby demands meat, so cooks chicken breast first and cut it up. I used two bags of Walmart brand sugar snap peas stir fry (1.50/bag), I had to use powdered ginger this time (but I'm sure the fresh would be AWESOME, will try that next time). Since I had so many veggies, I doubled the soy sauce. I also added a can of pineapple chuncks with the juice just before serving. VERY GOOD! thank you for posting!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2002
WOW!!!!!!!!! I took the stuffing to a party last night. BIG HIT!!! I did a few things different. I used the peteridge farm herb seasoning, I used mild italian sausage (because I had some already cooked), and I used chicken stock (about 1 1/2 cans). I pre cooked the onions and celery and sausage, so 1 hour before we left I threw it all together and popped in oven at 350 for 45-55 minutes. YUMMY! and many wanted the recipe. The apple in it were AWESOME!!!! Thanks so much for posting.

Slow Cooker Spare Ribs

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2002
Very Good, Very Easy. I WILL make this recipe again. After boiling the PORK ribs I put them in the crock pot, but my crock didn't work so hot today for some reason. (Time to get a new one), So instead I had to put the ribs in a "Reynolds Oven Bag" (plastic) and they turned out perfectly yummy! I followed the cooking times that come with the bag which was 325 for 1 1/2 hours, meat is done when fork tender. Thanks for posting your recipe

Bobbie's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2002
SO VERY YUMMY!!!!! I cooked them 12 minutes and made smaller sized cookies. I enjoyed these most the next day (for breakfast with my coffee, lol) When they were completely cooled. I loved the choc chips but next time I'm gonna make it without the chips.
