Chicken Adobo II

Reviewed: May 16, 2012
This recipe was really good! I used 3lbs of bone-in drumsticks and bone-in thighs, and will definitely use only bone-in thighs in the future. Equal parts apple cider vinegar to low sodium soy sauce turned out great, despite some other reviews. We also added a little more garlic (3 cloves total) and ginger and it turned out great.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
This recipe was a pleasant surprise! I usually don't like parmesan cheese but it was really tasty with the garlic and cauliflower. The roasted cauliflower by itself is a little bit sweet, so adding salt, pepper, garlic and parmesan is a big improvement! I didn't have any parsley, but the recipe turned out great without it.

Chocolate Crinkles IV

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
The chocolate chips are a nice touch. After freezing them overnight the first batch i cooked didn't crinkle much -- the confectioner's sugar was in huge, unbroken blobs. After flattening the second batch turned out a little better, but there must be a trick to producing a flawless looking cookie. They still taste phenomenal though, regardless of how they look.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
This recipe is so fantastic and simple! I bought two packages of brussel sprouts from trader joes, cut the grey stems off, halved only the big ones, and threw em in the oven for 35 minutes and they were PERFECT. The halved brussels were crispy on the cut side, the whole ones were browned on the outside, and the middle was soft but not too soft. And they're still great as leftovers. Excellent recipe!
