Excellent recipe, and I hate to be redundant, but really is better than the frozen. Was too mushy, but as my husband said, it was like a burrito filling. "Fried" on top of stove in cast iron skillet with very little oil. Will add more filler next time (flax? oatmeal? brown rice?). Added frozen roasted corn kernels (Trader Joe's, I keep a bag in the freezer). Served with an amazing spread we made up with mayo, sour cream, and oven-dried crushed jalapenos from our bumper crop. When we had zillions of jalapenos, we dehydrated them in the oven then ran them through the food processor. Nice heat when we need it. Burger recipe definitely a keeper!
