Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
I took other reviewers advice and only used 2Tbs of butter and used 3/4 cup milk. I also used fresh spinach which I will do again. My family loved it.

Chicken Breasts with Olives

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
This was easy, fast, and good. I used thin cut chicken breasts and store bought lemon juice. I'll be making this again.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2013
I thought there was way too much cream cheese. It overpowered the goodness of the blueberries. Even as I was making this I thought it was too much and I was right. No one in my family enjoyed this because of the cream cheese. I do think it is a great recipe minus the 2 packs of cream cheese. Next time I think I will either put only a 1/4 amount of the cream cheese or none at all. Also, a little cinnamon would give it a good flavor.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 14, 2013
This is a keeper! Great cookie! My first batch ended up a little flat but the rest were fine. I would recommend reading the reviews and adding a little more flour and baking soda. And don't overmix. I used milk chocolate chips since that's what I had on hand.

Slow Cooker Oats

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2013
I won't be making this again. The consistency turned out fine but I wish I would've added alot more apples for taste. Yes, it was bland but then again it's oatmeal. If you don't have a programmable crockpot that will automatically turn off after 6 or 8 hours I would hesitate on trying it overnight for fear it will burn.

Crab Imperial II

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
I took the advice of other reviewers and used crushed Ritz crackers for the bottom. I also used backfin crab meat and more Old Bay...I'm from MD and 1/2 tsp of Old Bay just wasn't enough. Mine was a little bit on the dry side but maybe that was because I added more Old Bay. It was still really good and I'll make it again. BTW, I'm glad I used backfin; it has more flavor and cheaper then lump.

Baked Chicken and Zucchini

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
Whole family liked it! Took other reviewers suggestion and did not saute zucchini before and I'm glad I didn't. It got plenty tender just from the other juices.

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2012
I took the advice of other reviewers and added only 1 cup of water. I'm glad I did because we don't like our chili to be too soupy. I also added one can of northern beans. I mashed half the can of northern and half the can of kidney beans. It came out great!
