About this Cook
I live on a Farm, grow my own veggies, raise hens and absolutely love playin' in the dirt! Married to my best friend (he is going straight to Heaven, as that is where all Angels must return to). I have been cooking and baking since long before I could even see over the top of the stove. I am an experienced Cake and Cookie Decorater and I sell many of my Homemade goodies.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! It is my passion! I enjoy molding chocolates and using the many different colors to create unique edible treats. I also enjoy looking in the fridge and playing with foods and fruits combined. It is amazing what can be done to a main course this way!
My favorite family cooking traditions
All the Holiday classics... whether it's Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter or Halloween...
My cooking triumphs
My Wedding Cake... talk about stressful...lol as well as other beautiful cakes I have done for Bar Mitzvahs, Retirements, etc.
My cooking tragedies
the first time I used an electric stove and set my Olive Oil on fire...rofl I just wasn't built for using electric stoves! Thankfully, I learned pretty fast after that experience, and now have a beautiful Antique Repro Elmira stove that is Dual Fuel. (propane on top for cooking and an electric oven)

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
Just pulled this out of the oven...BURNED! I thought 400* degrees seemed a bit high (as in cooking pizza, not cookies) and the dough was Extremely sticky (I left it in fridge for 2 hours). VERY disappointed! I will try baking the rest at 350*, and with any luck, I might actually be able to serve these.
