Sooooo Yummy! I thought I had already tasted the best Guac ever at a pub in Banff until now. I just wish it lasted longer refridgerated.... I guess next time we'll have to eat it all asap! :)

Beef Tips and Noodles

The sauce had wonderful flavor, used fresh mushrooms one small packages, could have used 2, used milk rather than water. My only complaint is that the meat was very very tough, could have been the stew beef i used but I picked it all out. Will make again but would cook the meat seperately.

Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
Best cheesecake ever. The top cracked as I didnt use a waterbath, but I'm more about taste than I am presentation. Fantastic! If it was a healthier choice I'd have it everyday! Followed recipe exact except i ran a butter knife through the caramel on top before baking.

Grilled Asian Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
Great flavors just verrrrry salty, would use a low-sodium soy sauce or just cut it in half and replace with water or stock. Possibly because I did it on the stove top rather than the grill as well. Probly won't make again unles major adjustments made.

PHILADELPHIA New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
This was my first-ever cheesecake attempt. I must say I was quite proud. I opted against the waterbath because I coulnd't get enough foil around the pan to keep it from leaking. only one little crack but I covered it with caramel and chocolate sauce drizzle and no one will know! Very very creamy and delicious, only change I would make would be to double the crust and add sweeten it. Otherwise will follow recipe exactly next time.

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
Loved it! Few changes, omitted the vinegar, used 3/4 of ketchup and a tablespoon of honey. Also like to add minced white onion (if I dont have on hand a couple sprinkles of onion powder is just as good). Tastes even better the next day. Poured over meatballs and basmati rice.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Looked aweful! I ended up with a purple mess, tasted pretty good, but I had to sear it after just to make it look appitizing. Might make again with a ton of changes, more effort on making the gravy.... gravy not just winey beefy juice.

Huge crowd pleaser! Baked on 375 for 30 mins then turned it and broiled for just under 10 mins. Definately a do-over.
