Happily married university student. Between work, school, and internships I do not have a lot of free time. Cooking is a marvelously fun stress reliever, and my family loves the culinary creations.

Fondue, shepherd's pie, meatloaf, stews, and unusually creative veggie dishes.

When a loved one is under the weather, I bring them hot-from-the-oven delights to lessen their misery.
My cooking triumphs
My shepherd's pie is famous amongst my family, friends, and coworkers. It is the number one requested dish at get-togethers.
My cooking tragedies
Talapia.. it doesn't seem to matter what I do with it.. the fish hates me and all of my kin...

Beef and Lentil Soup
I am not a usually a lentil fan, but this is spectacular! I use extra lean ground beef or ground sirloin instead of the chuck. I also use a combination of beef broth and chicken (about a 2:1 ratio). Brilliantly flavourful. Thanks so much for sharing!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs
This was wonderful and so easy to make! I didn't have any tomato paste, so I substituted a small can of tomato sauce instead. Very forgiving recipe. I also added 1 t of Italian Seasonings to add a bit to the flavour to the sauce and doubled the parmesan for the meatballs. Bliss! Thanks so much!
