Chicken and Gnocchi Soup

I made a vegetarian version.. I substituted veg. Broth, flour and butter instead of cornstarch, 2% milk instead of cream. Delish

Butternut Squash Soup II

This was delicious... Just a few changes after reading the reviews though kudo's to Maplebird...great recipe. I used 1 medium potato instead of 2 2 carrots instead of 1. I sauted the onion in half butter half canola/olive oil. 4 Cups of water to 6 teas. chicken boullion. I added 1/2 t. garam masala (quality curry powder) 1/4 t. cinnamon, dash nutmeg 1/4 - 1/2 teas. of cayenne pepper Simply Delicious :)

Vegetarian Lime Orzo

Delicious. with a few changes. (only because of what I had on hand.) Vegetables were thinly sliced instead of shredded. (Julienne). Used pre-flavored chopped stewed tomatoes. Used 1 cup only, chicken broth instead of vegetable broth. Added 2 small sweet red peppers. Omitted the lime juice and zest. Used Romano instead of Parm. Everyone loved it.

Mom's Coleslaw

I tweaked this by reducing the mayo to 1/2 a cup and used a 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. I have made this recipe at least 10 times. It is a family favorite :)

Country Pumpkin Muffins

Very nice and moist. I omitted the raisins and nuts and added a crumb topping made with cinnamon, sugar and flour. Next time I will add a touch of butter to the topping so it sticks better.
