I'm a self-taught cook and cooking is my passion & the only part of me that I think is creative. Cooking, not baking, is my thing. If I ever got into baking, I think I'd be big as a house. I do catering on the side (I'm an insurance agent by profession) and I do pretty well considering I get jobs via "word of mouth". Eventually I guess I'll have to become more professional about the catering business, but it works for me now.

I cooked my first turkey with the giblets, wrapped in plastic, in the cavity of the bird....oy vay! What a mess!
