About this Cook
I'm a young woman. I live with my fiancée in Salem massachusetts. I'm always the one assigned to cooking duty both at home and family functions. Everyone loves my cooking. I learned a lot from my father who is a chef and my mother who is Italian of course!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything. Even fish, although it smells horrible prior to cooking. I really enjoy every dish I make. From cakes to appetizers, to main dishes. Cooking relaxes me. When I'm stressed I cook to keep my mind off the stress. When I'm bored I cook to give myself something to do. When I'm sad I cook comfort food. It's amazing I can stay thin. My fiancée has gained a few though! Lol
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have a famous Alfredo sauce that has been passed down from one of my grandmothers who was obviously genius. However, the same thing is true for the cook that is true for the magician.... We never reveal all of our secrets... Especially our family secrets.
My cooking triumphs
I have perfected my four cheese lasagna. Mmmm. I use ricotta, low fat cottage cheese, provolone, and mozzarella, a number of veggies to add color and flavor and two meats... Hamburg and ground sausage... The flavors scream out of this. Taste buds you didn't know u had are woken.
My cooking tragedies
The first turkey I ever cooked. OMG. It came out like jerky. There was smoke all throughout my apartment. We had steak that night.

Chicken Breasts with Lime Sauce
this was amazing.. my fiance and i just got done with our plates and i had to pick up the laptop to write my review. i made a few changes though. i added some garlic powder and parmesan cheese to the bread crumbs for the breading. then i fried the breasts in oil for 5 mins on each side. then while i was making my sauce i used the juices from some hot salsa and about a tablespoon of the tomatoes and peppers in the salsa and some garlic powder. this chicken came out so juicy and was bursting with flavor. i wish i had my fiance's look on camera when he took that first initial bite. he was nodding in approval.. :-)
