About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to make desserts and baked dishes, it's just my passion.
My favorite family cooking traditions
On one side of my family we have European inspired dishes, and on another side what we make up something everyday by using what we have on hand.
My cooking triumphs
There have been many, although one that comes to mind is when I made this chicken corden bleu from scratch. It was delightful!
My cooking tragedies
I made a cake for my birthday one year and I used fondant, which I don't have much expirience with, it turned out horrible. The fondant tore and became mushy, it tasted fine but it wasn't something I want to recreate.

Pebber Nodder (Danish Christmas Cookies)
These cookies remind me of the holiday treats my grandma always made for my sister and I when we were little. These cookies are simple and very good, but I did put a little orange zest in them. The citrus and cardamom go quite nicely together.

Blueberry Salsa
The salsa was nice, but I would have made simple syrup with the blueberries and jalapenos ten put that over some softened cream cheese.
