Dad's Leftover Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2013
This was awesome! I followed it almost exactly. I made my crusts from scratch. I only made enough for one pot pie in my casserole dish. I didn't have green beans or celery - I used peas and some other veggies and added lots of savory seasoning as well. I got the perfect compliment from my husband. "This was the absolute best meal you've ever made!" I was swooning :) I cook often, but this just hit the target perfectly. Thank you!!!

Pork Medallions

Reviewed: May 2, 2012
My hubby absolutely LOVED the results. I added extra garlic because we just love garlic. Kept everything else the same. He licked his plate clean. Thanks for sharing, this is a keeper and will become a weekly staple in the house.

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
I found these to be very very dry and I even used more filling. Not sure what went wrong, but I'm not very happy with the results. I gave it 3 stars because the dough was good, but the rolls themselves left you needing to drink lots of coffee or milk. Very disappointing.

Chewy Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2012
The flavor was ok... but seemed a bit weak on the chocolate and it was cakey and not fudgy. I didn't use my mixer to mix the batter, I did it by hand to make sure I didn't over mix. I was a bit disappointed.

Hungarian Beigli

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
I make a similar recipe a few times every year. One tip for those who would like to simplify, you don't have to stick with walnut filling (or even make it from scratch). You can use any pie filling available in a can. I've used Triple Berry, Apple, and several others. I prefer poppy seed filling, but due to drug tests, I stay away from that for people. Also bakers, make sure you check the date of the yeast you are baking with. If it's expired, it won't rise. Also, it's usually better to "proof" the yeast before adding it to a recipe which will "prove" that it's a good yeast batch.

Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
Awesome cookies! To prevent the batter from being too runny, use heaping cups of flour, not level cups. Since I didn't have walnuts, I decided to use shredded sweetened coconut and also used coconut extract instead of lemon extract. These cookies are soooo soft and delicious - I will definitely be making them again! :)

Sweet Potato Rolls

I made these and they were really really good. I added cinnamon and ginger for an added health boost to go with the beta carotene :)

Barbecued Round Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
While the beef was very tender, the sauce had a strange flavor to me and my fiance. It was almost like a Chef Boyardee flavor.
