Good. Quick and easy for granddaughter. Next time will add one cup of chocolate chips, and melt down with the marshmellows.

Very good. Looked like little scones. I doubled the recipe, and they turned out wonderful. Only change was Craisins for the raisins.

Corn Chowder IV

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
Too thin, and lacked flavor. I doubled the amount of potatoes, and then whipped about 3 cups of the potatoes with milk in blender. Added this to the soup to thicken it. I added shredded jack and cheddar cheese, and then added milk until I got the consistency I wanted. Also doubled bacon so we had enough to garnish soup. Added salt and pepper to flavor, and this became a true winner.

Jo Jo's Favorite Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
I made these 2 times in last week. Keep it simple: Mix dry ingredients first, then just put in eggs, milk, and bananas. Mix together on medium until blended. I add chopped pecans. Easy, very good recipe.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2013
Absolutely perfect. My husband said it is the best soup I have ever made. I did add extra cup of water. This would only serve 8 if small eaters. Better to say serves 4 with seconds allowed. Lol

Decadent. Almost too sweet for my taste, but my mother-in-law cleaned it up.

I expected more of a red sauce. Tasted like pork-beans. Not what I expected, but good.

Summer Squash Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
I would have liked more flavor esp with the effort I put into it. I cooked chicken cubes and squash together..mistake! Squash too soft. Note to self...cook separately using same pan. Next time mix Alfredo sauce with pasta, and present at table with vegetables on top, garnished with almonds and bacon bits. It needs more salt, pepper, garlic, and maybe red pepper flakes.

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Strata

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
I made 1 1/2 times the recipes, used no mushrooms, and baked in 3 8x8 inch pans for brunch. I got rave reviews, and gave out copies of the recipe. Next time I will be more creative in adding ingredients. I did use 1 lb bacon for the expanded recipe. Very easy. Very good.
