Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

I made this with a couple of changes suggested by other reviewers. I used a chuck roast that I cubed, added some garlic, 1/2 package of Beefy Onion soup mix and 1/3 c sour cream. I used beef broth instead of water. I also added sliced mushrooms about 30 mins before serving. Served over hot buttered egg noodles. It had lots of flavor and the sour cream & cream cheese mix gave a nice tangy sauce. Will definitely make this again.

Mediterranean Linguine with Basil and Tomatoes

Very good. Light & fresh. I use half a box of linguine pasta - 8oz - but left the rest of the ingredients the same. I did cut the olive oil down to 1/3 cup and that seemed like plenty. I also added kalamata olives when I added the pasta to the skillet. I did not have any fresh basil so used fresh parsely instead.

Rosemary Pork Roast

Made this over the weekend. Loved it !! So tender it fell apart trying to get it out of the crockpot. I used a 4 lb. pork shoulder roast that I seared on all sides. In same pan I sauted 1/2 onion (all I had) and garlic in olive oil, scrapeing bottom to get all the brown bits. Place the roast, onions garlic, rosemary, 1/2 cup water & 1 cup wine in crockpot & cook on low for 6-7 hours. Ymmm!!!

Honey Dijon Balsamic Vinaigrette

Have been looking for a simple balsamic vinaiggrette recipe and this fits the bill. I used only 1 tbsp of the mustard since I keep a honey dijon mustard on hand.
