Thai Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
My boyfriend and I loved it! I made it like the recipe asked, except I only used an 1/8 cup of Peanut butter and i added Cilantro with the green onions and chicken. I think the Cilantro made ALL the difference. Sas very good and will definitely make again! ***ammendment We still make this all the time - just wanted to add that we've also used crunchy chow mein noodles as a topping when we didn't have all the ingredients and it's great that way too! Cook up the chicken in sesame seed oil and garlic, sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds on it instead of peanuts and it's really awesome that way, too!

Salmon Rosemary Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
I was quite disappointed w/ how these turned out. I stuck to the recipe except scaled it down to only make 4 small patties, but they were VERY bland and completely fell apart on the grill. Made a great big mess. Will not be making again.

Salmon Fettuccini with Blue Cheese and Olives

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
I took a small bite after mixing it with the pasta and threw it out. Waste of ingredients I bought especially for this recipe. Terrible.

Raspberry Tilapia

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
I VERY much enjoyed this recipe. I used a raspberry vinigrette instead of rasp. vinegar. Loved the light sweet taste and the moistness of the fish was great. Make all the time now. Thanks!

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
I used cucumber dill mayo - mm mm mm! I agree, you can almost half the amount for the sauce and it would be much lighter and not overwhelm the salmon.

Vegetable Pizza I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
Use your own veggies w/ this mix and it's great. Just the right amt of dip, too. I used cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, red/yellow/green peppers and olives. Looked great and got raves from the guests.

Maple Dill Carrots

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
I make this often. SO easy and super yummy - you can cook the carrots as much as you'd like - if you like them a little crisp or soft - a perfect side for any meat and potatoes type dinner.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
I'm giving this 4 out of 5 only because following the recipe exactly makes my potatoes super runny. haven't quite got the qty's down yet to make it nice and thick the way I want it - but the taste is good!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
This was fine - good for something light if you have a busy week and want left overs - but pretty bland - next time I'll add more pepper and some other italian seasonings as well as a variety of vegetables.

Baked Zucchini

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I LOVED this stuff - it makes WAY to much stuffing for just one large zucchini though - I could use it up in about 10 zucchini's = great for a party appetizer that way, though - and u can use the cream cheese stuffing on crackers or as a veggie dip on it's own, too, if you have left overs!

Cool Cucumber Salsa

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Only gave it three stars because it was pretty bland, even though I doubled the Jalepeno and gave heaping measurements of the seasonings. However, I did really enjoy it because I love cucumber. When I make next time I will half the recipe and keep the seasonings and jalepeno where they are at. does get liquidy in storage, but get the nice fat chips and it's ok.

Delicious Grilled Hamburgers

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Wonderful burgers. Quadrupled recipe for BBQ of all guys - only had a couple left - really enjoyed them. Did not feel it was to smoky at all w/ the liquid smoke, following others suggestions to have a slightly smaller amt per pound. Next time, will probably keep the measurement as called for because we really like the smoky flavor.

World's Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Taste was good, but gave this recipe 3 stars because it makes WAY more than 12 servings. I had a BBQ w/ 20 guests and I dbled it since it was the only side I made, and had SO MUCH left over I brought it to work for others to eat it up. It took me and entire Saturday to make it as well as making the eggs the night before. To much work for a good but kind of bland potato salad. What people ate, though, they said they liked.

Favorite Quacamole

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
Obviously I love my own recipe - but this last time I made it, was the best it's ever turned out. Make sure those avacados are RIPE - I researched picking avacados online - i recommend going to a good grocery store and buying them a few days in advance, put them in a paper bag at room temperature, keep them dry and then use them the day of your party. Don't use the whole batch of cilantro - it does tend to over power - I used a half a batch - feel free to add as many jalepenos as you so desire. If the avacodos are rip and unbruised, though, you really can't go wrong. I LOVE THIS GUAC

Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
VERY VERY Rich - great flavor, but reheated wasn't so great. 3 stars just because I couldn't eat much of it with the richness and not liking reheated. My husband loved it, though.

Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
not a WHOLE lot of flavor, but easy enough for something different to do with chicken. Will be making again, maybe adding some more garlic or some thai seasonings to give it a little kick.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

nice flavorful steaks - didn't spend the money on filget mignon - can use on any piece of red meat, really - I like my steak with bold warm flavors so this fit the bill. Easy to keep from blackening, too. one of my favorites.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
I LOVE this lasagna. My friends always ask me to make it when we get together for girls night. You do have to make sure to really squeeze as much liquid out of the frozen spinach as you can - took me a few times making it to get the right consistency. You can probably use less broth as well. All in all, though, great flavors, nice and fairly healthy - great vegetarian option - I don't even miss the meat.

Bella's Rosemary Red Potatoes

have been asked repeatedly to make this when hosting dinner for friends. Quite scrumption. Careful not to overpower potatoes w/ seasoning - but I love rosemary potatoes, so can't really go wrong for me.
