Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
I made this for Thanksgiving. I omitted the orange juice per other reader's suggestions and I forgot to put the butter into the potatoes so I put it on top of the potatoes, which was a mistake! It didn't blend in. However, my family LOVED it and they were raving over it all night. Will be making this again for sure!

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
I make this as one big cookie and give it to my mother-in-law for her birthday every year. She certainly doesn't share, seriously she eats the entire thing. I like to add more white chocolate chips than the recipe calls for. This is buttery and tasty! Best cookie I've ever made.

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
I liked these. They were super easy to make and baked beautifully. I bought pre-made mini graham cracker crusts for mine and they turned out wonderfully. I'll definitely be making these again!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
I love love loved these pork chops. They were so easy to make. I took others advice and added the cornstarch and water to make a nice gravy at the end, it was such a good idea. The gravy comes out nice and tasty! No salt needed on the chops even though the recipe calls for it, the bouillon gives it all the salt it needs. I also just added a touch of rosemary to the chops and some onion. Overall a wonderful recipe that my husband ate up, literally, and I will be making again!!

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
I made this just as the recipe suggested and it turned out wonderfully! I did not use a wet towel as all I could think about was germs so I sprayed a piece of aluminum foil with butter flavored cooking spray, baked it, then sprayed another piece of foil and put the powdered sugar on it when it was time and rolled it. It unrolled perfectly and never stuck and the whole thing was gone that night! I will definitely be making this again!!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
I have made this twice now and it has been a hit. I always follow the comments of other reviewers and use chicken stock or chicken stock and water to boil my veggies in. I also am very liberal with the amount of chicken stock I put in the sauce so that my end result never comes out dry. I add potatoes because my husband likes them and have never used celery seed, just salt and pepper and it comes up absolutely luscious every time!! Highly recommend this recipe!

Pesto Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
Oh my goodness! I made this in half an hour last night after a long day at work. My husband loved it and he is usually a strictly steak and potatoes kind of man. I will definitely be making this again. Couple changes- I added mushrooms and some chooped onions to the skillet while cooking the chicken and used a little wine to add flavor. I also chopped up the sundried tomatoes so that they would be dipersed throughout the dish. I added asiago cheese and actually mixed it in so it would be melted. Overall this was fabulous!!
