Mom's Date Pudding Cake
A scrumptious dessert! I did follow some reviewers' recommendations in omitting the sugar from the batter and decreasing the butter to 1 tablespoon. I also increased the amount of dates to 2 cups, which really accented the taste of dates in the pudding. You have to start with a light meal in order to enjoy this rich dessert. Thanks Peg :)

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo
Fettucine alfredo is a frequent dish on our table. Thank you, Erinmarie for sharing your recipe with us. I make my dish with a slight variation. I do not use butter at all, I believe the fats in the added cheeses are more than enough. I stir two tbsp of flour in two cups of cooking cream and I add this mixture to one tbsp of sauteed garlic, on low heat, until it thickens. I then add the cheeses of my choice together with half a bouillon cube (1/2 tsp) and one tsp of lemon pepper, which is really a very tasty finish to the sauce.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
Very easy and tasty, thanks Cathy. I just want to share one slight modification I have made...I sauteed the onion rings in olive oil before adding them to the potatoes, which gave them a nice flavor and a softer bite.
