Ice Cream Base

I followed the recipe exactly and it was heaven. I like the custard best before freezing. But I did save some of the custard to make ice cream and added 1 1/2 ripe banana during the freezing process. Yum!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Wonderful pie. My co-workers loved it though I pored the brown sugar mixture on top of the apples instead of as directed. The pie was excellent even with my goof. This recipe is a keeper.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Very yummy. I used one cup of flour, as suggested, an extra 1/4 c cocoa, used only 3 eggs. I also omitted the nuts. But to make these brownies extra special, I spread half of the batter in a 13x9 pan, laid 2 large symphony candy bars (the ones with toffee and nuts in it) on top of the batter, then topped with the remaining half of the batter. Bake per the recipe.

Champagne Punch III

This punch was a hit at my last party; however, its just a bit too sweet for my taste. I may add more club soda and maybe a little lemon juice or unsweetened cranberry juice to git it more "punch" next time.

A big hit with my dinner guests. I grilled the fish instead of frying. I will keep this recipe for future use. The marinade/sauce would be good with pork, chicken, salmon.
