Authentic German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
This was great. Made it a day in advance and then reheated in the microwave. I was concerned at first because there seemed to be an excessive amount of liquid in the dressing but after it set overnight most of the liquid was absorbed. Will make again! Other guests love it too.

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
This had a wonderful flavor. Next time, we might prebake the crust for a few minutes before topping just to make sure that the bottom isn't soggy and the toppings aren't burnt. We came close to that happening but it turned out okay. Thanks for the great recipe!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
So easy, healthy (use low fat mayo, less butter), and tasty. The sauce has as a rich flavor that goes well with the fish. I have made this a couple of times and plan on keeping it in my rotation.

Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2010
These turned out wonderful. I was worried about them falling apart on the grill, because the consistency seemed a little off but they held together. Will make again! Above was my original review. I have changed my rating because we make these all the time. There are only two of us so I freeze them individually (wrap in foil and place in ziplocs) and pop them on the grill when I need a quick entree. Always good and healthy!!

We enjoyed this last night with some pork loin and steamed asparagus. Easy to put together and great flavor overall. I used seasoned bread crumbs.

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
I added some vanilla and pecans and made mini muffins instead of the loaf. They turned out wonderfully (obviously cut cooking time by a great amount). The butter creates great browning over the typical vegetable/canola oil that is usually used in quick breads.

Linguini with Cashews and Scallions

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
We really enjoyed this as a meatless dinner. I added some snow peas for more vegetables. It is a great one pot meal (plus a colander). I did add just half of the butter that was called for and used whole wheat pasta to make it healthier. This is a keeper for a quick and easy weeknight meal! Thanks!

Slow Cooker Lentil and Ham Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
This was very flavorful, easy, and most of all healthy. I subbed the Italian seasoning for the oregano, etc. because it was what I had on hand. I also subbed a can of stewed tomatoes in for the tomato sauce as others suggested. I did add a little bit of salt prior to eating but I used no added salt canned products. I will keep this in my rotation to use up leftover ham after holidays.

Bourbon Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
So easy and delicous. Really good on pumpkin pie- it gives it that "something special" taste. Used 1 1/2 tablespoons as the recipe suggests and we did not think it was too strong at all.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
I LOVED this! I scaled down the recipe for 12 servings. So easy and delicious! Will make again. The only sub I made was swapping spicy brown mustard for dijon because it's what I had on hand. Gave it a great kick!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
This was soooo easy and really good. Tasted like a peanut butter ice cream pie. Not too sweet- everyone else that I served it to also really liked it. Refreshing on a hot summer's evening.

Heavenly Angel Food Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
This was delicious! So much better than store bought or cake mix angel food. It was worth the time. The only thing I adjusted was using egg whites from the carton and it worked perfectly. Thanks so much for the wonderful recipe!

I decided to make these on a whim when I didn't want to buy any of the processed cornbread mixes. These were great! So easy and sweet, but not too sweet. Thanks!

Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

This was delicious! I served it over a spinach salad with strawberries, bacon, and feta cheese. Be warned that it does have a strong flavor profile (which I happen to like). Thanks for the great recipe!

Pistachio Mini Loaves

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2011
These were so easy and very good. Great to give as gifts since they are mini loaves. I ended up using four 8 x 2 x 3 inch instead of 5 smaller ones because I used disposable pans to give away and that is what the grocery store had. It is very moist and the texture is cake light but it is not too sweet. Thanks for the great recipe!

This was fantastic!! I used frozen mussels in the shell and that was the only thing I changed. Will definitely make again! Thanks for the wonderful recipe.
