What a great recipe! I added mushrooms and garlic. I then browned some chicken and used my pasta water in the onion mixture. I mixed it all togther and served. You can really customize this in a lot of ways.

Slow Cooker Cassoulet

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
This was a wonderful base recipe for this classic dish!Any one can customize it to their taste. I used chicken thighs and pork smoked sausage. I also used canned drained great northern beans and pinto beans. I added a chicken boullion cube and chicken broth instead of wine. I love herb blends so I used a country herb blend and poultry seasoning. I love spice so I used seaasoning salt and red pepper flakes. I added celery, carrots, and chunked tomatoes. It was a fabulous meal. I served it with pasta.

Apple-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Great starter for me! I added 1 can chunked tomatoes, 1 clove garlic, 2 tbls butter, 1tbls parsley flakes, pinch red pepper flakes, and 2 tbls vinegar. We loved it! I browned chops first and then made the sauce in skillet. I added the chops back and let it simmer for 20 min. I added the corn starch to some of the broth in a bowl and pour it in neaqr the end of cooking. I also added salt and black pepper to taste it was not bland!

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2010
Great Dish! Bought a Schwann smoked sliced ham and didn't know how to get flavor into the slices. This was perfect! I added a cinnamon stick to the sauce as well as a 1/4 tsp ground cloves. Made a great meal! I also only had chunked pinapple it worked just fine.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2014
I loved these! So easy to make. You can really taste the difference between store bought and homemade. I loved mixing the sugar cinnamon and butter into a spread I liked how it handled and tasted. I made a powdered sugar milk and cinnamon glaze for he top and we eat all twelve. Great recipe. Oh, I used rapid rise yeast and added baking soda and powder to the dry (1/2 teaspoon each.)
